To provide students with learning directly related to their immersive interests, our on-demand, a la carte courses are laid out into two unique program pathways:

Real-time 3D Pathway
These courses are designed to provide students with the technical skills and training to begin junior, assistant, and apprenticeship positions in Level Design, 3D Modeling, and VR Game Design. These gateway roles can lead to careers in the following: Survey Technician, 3D Modeling, Digital Artist, Content Creator, Motion Capture Specialist, Lighting and Compositing Artist, Virtual Production technician, Real-Time Artist, VFX Artist, Technical Artist.

Intro to Virtual Production
Introduction to Virtual Production is an eight-week course introducing students to Unreal Engine and virtual production workflows. Students, we will create a simple project showcasing a typical Unreal Engine workflow to an XR Production. Through hands-on examples, we will learn the different uses and tools in virtual production: setting up a level, importing and reviewing 3D assets, building and lighting basic environments, motion capture, and creating a scene using real-time workflows. Participants will explore how Unreal Engine is used for different roles throughout the film industry and how essential art pipelines are used in the growing field of virtual production.

Unreal Engine Foundations
Unreal Engine Foundations is a 16-week course designed to provide an overview and foundational understanding of critical aspects of using Unreal Engine for beginners while building their portfolios. It offers foundational technical knowledge, which aids students in building the foundational skills to secure roles in creative industries, such as Environment artists, Gaming developers, Technical artists, and Virtual Production assistants. Students will learn the basics of navigating the Unreal Engine, creating landscapes, understanding the Blueprint Scripting System, using animations, and incorporating these topics into creating a cinematic sequence.

Step into the world of immersive storytelling through virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 360° video, and 3D scanning. In this hands-on course, you'll learn how to capture real-world environments and objects using accessible photogrammetry and spatial scanning tools, transforming them into interactive digital experiences.
Explore the fundamentals of XR, practical production workflows, and inspiring real-world case studies while discovering how immersive media is reshaping storytelling, gaming, education, and creative industries. Perfect for beginners, this course provides the foundation to start creating immersive experiences and building the skills needed for the next generation of digital storytelling.

This practical, hands-on course is designed for filmmakers, content creators, marketers, and storytellers who want to harness the latest AI tools without sacrificing the craft of storytelling. You'll learn how to develop ideas, write scripts, create cinematic visuals, build consistent characters, generate AI-powered video, enhance audio, and establish efficient production workflows—all while developing the creative judgment and taste needed to produce work that stands out. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to create professional-quality AI-assisted films and content from concept to completion.

These courses are designed to provide students with the technical skills and training to begin creative careers in education, marketing and advertising, gaming, media and entertainment, music, and creative entrepreneurship.

The GRX Immersive Labs Arts, Beats & Tech program is a creative collaboration application for desktop and virtual reality to enrich educational goals embodied by STEAM through music and spoken word production.

6 WEEKS
*360VR
360VR is a six-week program allowing students to collaborate and create virtual reality projects. The course gives students the whole experience of producing a VR360° film production and teaches participants about opportunities in creative entrepreneurship.
